One Piece Chapter 1091 Review: Luffy Vs Kizaru

In the much-anticipated One Piece Chapter 1091, titled "Sentomaru," we witness the long-awaited showdown between Admiral Kizaru and Sentomaru.

As the Pacifistas and sea monster robots launched an assault on the Marine ship, a colossal battle between the Pacifistas and the Marine representatives became inevitable.

Kizaru's objective in targeting Sentomaru was to seize control of the Pacifista command structure. As we know, the hierarchy of command within the Pacifistas goes from the Gorosei to Vegapunk, Sentomaru, and the authorized chip holders.

While Kizaru is one of the authorized chip holders, Sentomaru holds a higher rank in the command hierarchy. This means that the Pacifistas must prioritize Sentomaru's orders over Kizaru's.

However, if Sentomaru were to be incapacitated in battle, command authority would transfer to Kizaru. This was Kizaru's true plan.

The clash between Kizaru and Sentomaru concluded with a resounding victory for Kizaru. During this fight, we catch a glimpse of a young Sentomaru's first encounter with Dr. Vegapunk and Kizaru.

Young Sentomaru, who was cast out of his village, was found by Dr. Vegapunk while he was on duty. Despite his tender age, the child displayed the ability to defeat wild bear gangs.

Dr. Vegapunk subsequently hired him as a bodyguard, and under Kizaru's tutelage, Sentomaru trained to ensure Vegapunk's safety.

Having defeated Sentomaru, Kizaru assumed command of the Pacifistas, instructing them to protect the Marines and combat the sea monster robots.

Kizaru then penetrated the still-protected dome with ease due to his body being made of light, triggering danger alarms. His objective was to secure York, Punk Records, and Power Station.

While Kizaru originally intended to save his pupil, Sentomaru, he was forced to confront him because the Marines' top priority at present was to eliminate Dr. Vegapunk.

Upon realizing that Kizaru had entered the dome, Rob Lucci began to carry out his mission to assassinate Dr. Vegapunk. However, Stussy managed to stop him by using her body as a shield to protect Vegapunk.

Aware that the Cypher Pol was launching an attack, Sanji trapped Kaku with a bubble pistol crafted from sea-prism stone. Zoro, too, did not remain idle, engaging in a battle against Lucci within the dome.

The story shifts to Kizaru, who has now entered the dome. He is greeted by Luffy, who attacks him with haki-infused kicks.

Unlike the previous battle at Sabaody Archipelago, where Admiral Kizaru defeated all the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy now holds the title of one of the Four Emperors.

With his attacks infused with Haki, Luffy can harm the true body of a Logia-type Devil Fruit user. Luffy displays no fear in the face of Kizaru, thanks to his victory over Kaido, the reputed strongest creature in the world.

Luffy confidently states that he is now a hundred times stronger than he was two years ago, echoing the words of Shakki during the events at Sabaody. Shakki mentioned that Silver Rayleigh was a hundred times stronger than the Supernovas.
