April is the second month of the World of Wonders season. This season will run from March 1 to June 1, 2024. Niantic has released the schedule of Pokemon Go events for April.
Bagon will be the featured Pokemon in the Community Day Classic on April 7. For Trainers who haven't obtained a shiny Salamence with the Legacy Attack Outrage, this is a great opportunity to get one.
Mega Heracross will debut in Pokemon GO during the Mega Heracross Raid Day event on April 13. Additionally, Celesteela and Kartana will be available in Shiny variants for the first time. Here is the event schedule for Pokemon GO in April 2024:

Five Star Raids
Kartana, Celesteela, Tapu Bulu, and Registeel will be raid bosses throughout April. All of these raid bosses can be caught in shiny forms. Tapu Bulu caught during April will have the Legacy Attack Nature's Madness.
This attack can also be obtained via Elite TM. It is a Fairy-type move with 90 damage in Gym & Raid Battles. For Trainer Battles, Nature's Madness deals 80 damage and can lower the opponent's Pokemon's defense.

Mega Raids
Mega Charizard X, Mega Heracross, and Mega Aggron will be mega raid bosses in April. All these mega raid bosses can be caught in shiny forms. This marks the first appearance of Mega Heracross in Pokemon GO.

Shadow Raids
Every Saturday and Sunday in April, Shadow Entei will be the shadow raid boss. Don't miss this opportunity if you haven't caught Shadow Entei yet.
Raid Hours
Every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, there will be Raid Hours. Tapu Bulu will receive the Legacy Attack during these Raid Hours. This is a great chance to gather legendary Pokemon candy and hunt shiny legendaries.

Spotlight Hours
Every Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, there will be Pokemon Spotlight Hours where certain Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild with various bonuses. This is a great opportunity to hunt for shinies or gather resources.

Complete field research to collect 7 stamps each week. Goomy, Hisuian Sneasel, Furfrou, Sandygast, Jangmo-o, and Dubwool will be randomly rewarded when trainers collect 7 stamps.
