Niantic has announced the Pokemon GO Community Day for November 2023, featuring Wooper and Paldean Wooper. Wooper is a Water/Ground type Pokemon that can evolve into Quagsire.
On the other hand, Paldean Wooper is a Poison/Ground type Pokemon that can evolve into Clodsire with the same type. Paldean Wooper and Clodsire will be released for the first time on this November Community Day.
To evolve Wooper into Quagsire and Paldean Wooper into Clodsire, you'll need 50 Wooper Candy. Evolve Wooper during Community Day to obtain Quagsire, which can learn the Charge Move Aqua Tail, and Clodsire, which can learn the Charge Move Megahorn.
Aqua Tail on Quagsire is quite a useful upgrade. Having a low-energy Water-type Charge Move allows it to bait effectively in PvP battles.
On the other hand, Megahorn on Clodsire doesn't contribute significantly to its performance in battles. Besides not receiving a Same Type Attack Bonus (STAB), Megahorn requires a lot of energy.
The shiny evolution of Wooper has a unique and distinguishable color. Shiny Paldean Wooper will also be available.
In the PvP arena, Quagsire is a strong contender for the Open Great League. According to Pvpoke, Shadow Quagsire ranks 23 with the moveset Mud Shot, Mud Bomb, and Stone Edge, while regular Quagsire ranks 32.
Currently, Clodsire's moveset is unknown, but based on its base stats, it appears to be a suitable choice for the Open Great League due to its high defense and stamina.
Bonus Event
- 1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in Incubators during the event period.
- Double Candy from catching Pokémon.
- Double the chance for Trainers level 31 and above to receive XL Candy from catching Pokémon.
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will also last for three hours.
- Snap some photos during Community Day and stay tuned for surprises!
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
- Trades will require 50% less Stardust.

The Pokemon GO Community Day for November will take place on Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
Pokemon GO
