The latest season in Pokemon GO has arrived. The Season of Timeless Travels will run from December 1, 2023, to March 1, 2024. There are numerous exciting events in this season, particularly the release of Pokémon from the Hisui Region.
The Hisui Region was first introduced in Pokemon Legends: Arceus on the Nintendo Switch. The Hisui Region is actually the Sinnoh Region in ancient times when humans and Pokémon didn't live together harmoniously.
Vanillite will be the featured Pokémon in December. This Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild and will be available in shiny form for the first time in Pokemon GO. Here is the list of events, Raid Bosses, Community Day, Spotlight Hours, and Pokestop Showcases for December 2023:

Hisuian Samurott will be released for the first time in Pokemon GO through the Raid Day. Unlike Unova Samurott, which is a Water-type only, Hisuian Samurott has the Water/Dark typing.
This Pokémon is also available in shiny form. Don't miss the Hisuian Samurott Raid Day on December 3, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Trainers will receive 5 free raid passes from gyms and can use a maximum of 20 remote raid passes during Raid Day.
The December Pokemon GO Community Day will take place on December 16-17, 2023. The December Community Day will recap all Community Days throughout 2023.
Pokémon that have been featured in Community Days during 2023 will reappear during the December Community Day along with their legacy moves. Additionally, trainers can evolve specific Pokémon to obtain legacy moves from previous Community Days.
Seasonal Bonuses
During the Season of Timeless Travels, the following bonuses will be active and can be enjoyed by all trainers from December 1, 2023, to March 1, 2024.
- Trainers level 31 and above will receive a guaranteed XL Candy when trading Pokémon.
- An additional Candy when trading Pokémon.
- Trainers level 31 and above will have a higher chance of obtaining Rare XL Candy from five-star Raids directly.
- Increased XP for consecutive PokéStop spins for seven days.
- Increased XP and Stardust for consecutive Pokémon catches for seven days.
Spotlight Hours
Every Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time, the following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild. This is a great opportunity to collect candies or hunt for shinies.

GO Battle League
There are many moveset updates in this season. Aside from buffs and nerfs, some Pokémon also gained access to new movesets, making them relevant in PvP Go Battle League.
Retro Cup, Fantasy Cup, and Great League Remix are returning in GBL this season. Great League Remix is a league that prohibits trainers from using meta Pokémon such as Medichamp, Alolan Sandslash, Azumaril, Deoxys Defense, Registeel, Altaria, etc.

Shadow Zapdos will appear in Shadow Raids every weekend in December. Shadow Zapdos is a powerful Electric-type Pokémon for raid battles and PvP. Prepare your strongest Rock and Ice-type Pokémon to battle Shadow Zapdos.

For Trainers seeking a different competition from GBL or raid battles, you can participate in the PokeStop Showcase. Prepare your XXL and XXS Pokémon to join the PokeStop Showcase competition and win various premium prizes.
