In the latest livestream hosted by Kuro Games, players finally got a full preview of the major update for Wuthering Waves version 2.2. Wuthering Waves will release its version 2.2 update, titled "Tangled Truth in Inverted Tower," on March 27, 2025.
Kuro Games is introducing tons of new content, including the Bloodpact’s Pledge weapon, which can be obtained for free, two new Resonators, and new areas to explore.
Kuro Games also announced that Wuthering Waves will soon be available on Steam. Players can link their Kuro Games account with their Steam account to avoid losing their game progress. Want to watch the Version 2.2 livestream? Check out the video below!
New Features in Wuthering Waves Version 2.2
Here are the key features introduced in the Wuthering Waves 2.2 update:
1. New Main Quest:
- The Maiden, The Defier, The Death Crier
2. New Companion Story:
- A Fleeting Night’s Dream
3. New Regions:
- Avinoleum
- Beohr Waters
4. New Echoes
Wuthering Waves 2.2 introduces several new Echoes that players can collect, including:
- Reminiscence: Fleurdelys
- Nightmare: Lampylumen Myriad
- La Guardia
- Sagittario
- Sacerdos
- Capitaneus
- Aero Drake
- Electro Drake
- Glacio Drake
5. New Resonators
Two new characters are ready to join the battle:
- Cantarella (5-Star, Havoc Rectifier) – A character who can heal allies and disrupt enemy movement.
- Rover: Aero – A new version of the main character, now wielding Aero element abilities.
6. New Weapons & Free Rewards!
- Bloodpact’s Pledge (5-Star Sword) – Free! This weapon can be obtained after completing the main story in version 2.2.
- Whispers of Sirens
7. Events & Free Redeem Codes
As part of this update celebration, Kuro Games is launching the Lollo Campaign daily event and a 7-day daily login event. Players can get 5 Lustrous Tides (standard gacha) and 5 Radiant Tides (limited gacha) for free!
